Friends of the North Highland Way are anyone and everyone who has either put time or cash, or both, into the development of the North Highland Way. The Highland Council and Nature Scot in particular, went over and above their statory duties in developing the Way, so they are most definitely Friends. Forestry and Land Services are also Friends, providing services at Borgie, as well as the many community groups and charities along the route. We include some of them on our map. Other Friends are Tesco, who are helping, not with developing the route, but the communities on it. Also we invite selected students, such as Joel Richardson.

We have a number of paid up Friends, including Flow North, Quintfall Forest who paid for the printing of the third issue of Environmental News, and others too numerous to mention. We are grateful to them all.
