Community Tourism Accommodation Supporters

Anyone for an adventure?

We are developing the North Highland Way, and in 2024, we are looking for someone to assist with help on the trail, and perhaps with setting up QR codes. The route goes across the north coast of Scotland from John O Groats to Durness and 10 miles inland. We can make enquiries about offering accommodation in a caravan or similar, but at this time nothing is arranged. Cultural links with the many community groups in the area, including art, environmental, history, geology and creative writing. We have travelled widely ourselves, so have lots of experience in different countries, especially Spain. The North Highland Way is part of the Route of the Spanish Armada project. We are members of the Scottish Climate Change Action Network. We would be looking for approximately 10 hours per week of assistance. There are campsites available in the area, and also caravans. There would also be cultural opportunities in Sutherland. April to September only.
