With the current discussions in Northern Scotland about the state of the economy, we thought it prudent to link up with the London School of Economics, as well as Heriot Watt University where I am studying the Economics of Renewable Energy alongside trying to persuade some elements of public services that the North Highland Way is a good project.
You can see the output from Focus North here. It is not looking great for Caithness. The North Highland Way is not even mentioned, yet was launched by the Highland Council in 2014. The other main economic driver is tourism, which remains fragmented. Daily economic prompt.
